Promotion on DBS Renovation Loan

If you are interested in getting a home loan for renovation, DBS has recently launched a new renovation loan for green homes, making sustainable living even more attainable.

This loan is part of the DBS Green Solutions package announced on Sunday (April 25) that offers consumers options to integrate green practices in their daily lives.

What about the requirements?
Homeowners should fulfil the requirements of the bank’s green renovation checklist, developed in collaboration with the Singapore Green Building Council. a green building trade association and green building product certification board based in Singapore. The checklist can be found on the DBS website.
Customers seeking a green renovation loan can switch to green electricity retailers such as Geneco or Sunseap, or install green energy sources.

What do I stand to gain?
Customers will also get rebates if they install green energy infrastructure such as solar panels and electric vehicle chargers with DBS partners iSwitch and Keppel Electric.

Promotion
In hopes to attract more sign-ups, DBS is now offering a promotion on renovation loan for eco-friendly homes. An excerpt from the Straits Times article said that: “The bank said the rate of 2.68 per cent a year is the industry’s lowest for such a loan, adding that the average market rate is about 3.88 per cent.” Wow! That is more than 1% lower than the average market rate!

How do I sign up for it?
